Today you are one step closer to becoming the person you want to be because you decided to take charge of your wellbeing and search for better ways of dealing with life's challenges and transitions.
If you have the courage to begin, you have the courage to succeed.
                                                                                       - David Viscott
Being passionate about psychology and practicing as a Psychologist, my goal is to help individuals discover their strengths and inner resourcefulness, explain basic psychological knowledge and principles about personality, relationships, communication, conflicts, stress management, anxiety and similar topics, but most importantly help apply some of these principles to real life.

While we can't change the past, we can work together to change the present situation and create a better future. My therapeutic goal is to help my clients connect to their own thoughts, feelings and inner self in order to create a plan with practical steps that will help them become happier, more efficient, fulfilled and successful in their personal and professional life, community, society and ultimately bring the best of who they are to our world.
What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”                                                                                   – Ralph Waldo Emerson
I was always looking outside myself for strength and confidence but it comes from within. It is there all the time.                                                                - Anne Freud
My area of expertise is clinical psychology and involves providing treatment to individuals 6 years of age and up, presenting with a variety of concerns like anger management, mood disorders, anxiety, low self-esteem, self-harm, procrastination, trauma, parenting difficulties, oppositional behaviors, hyperactivity and attention deficits, as well as therapy for sex addiction. Most of the principles and therapeutic strategies that guide my practice are rooted in the cognitive-behavioral approach, however, there are many other techniques and tools that have been extremely effective with my clients including but not limited to:  motivational interviewing, paradoxical interventions, solution focused principles, gestalt, family systems and systemic therapy techniques.
The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts.
                                                                                      - Marcus Aurelius
I am a strong believer in the power of thoughts and that our actions and behaviors are influenced by our thoughts. So many challenges and unhealthy coping strategies most of us don't want to use are the result of  what we think of the situation, not the actual circumstances we're in, however, we're not inclined to believe our thoughts are a major contributing factor to our pain, but rather have our own list of things (usually outside of our control) that are causing us to feel or behave in a certain way. It is not so uncommon to see huge improvements after addressing some of my clients' core dysfunctional thoughts that have been keeping them from efficiently applying their inner resources and effectively coping with the situation.

Every step we take in therapy is mutually agreed upon and as a professional I am committed to create the most ethical, confident and respectful environment that will allow my clients to overcome any possible barrier they may have in addressing their personal and most intimate concerns, as well as encourage and support them in their journey.
